When one speaks about the streetwear scene in L.A., they can’t neglect to mention the young homie Anwar “Carrots” Washington. The 25-year-old fashion curator has been building his name since 2007, and has collaborated with notable brands like PUMA, XLARGE, The Hundreds, and most recently Brooks Heritage.
Mitchy Slick caught up with the young mogul at FourTwoFour on Fairfax yesterday where the release of his special capsule collection with Brooks was held.
Slick gets the inside scoop on how the collaboration with Brooks came about. The two also reflect on some of their earliest memories together. Along with hanging out in the studio with him and his Strong Arm Steady comrades, Carrots also reveals that he styled them for a music video when he was just 17-18 years old!
